Our Team

As the Owner & Director of Helping Hands Family Daycare & Preschool, I have personal experience with the need for childcare, and the questions that surround leaving your precious little one as you return to work. My goal with the design and operation of my In-Home Certified daycare is to support families in feeling confident that their children are loved and cared for as they would be with their own parents.

We value our team of caregivers and support staff, we strive for diversity, and we provide fair compensation, annual continuing education, a healthy work environment with open communication, and respect for individualism and creativity.

Our Mission

Helping Hands Family Daycare & Preschool is here to make your life easier with support when you need to be away from your precious little one. Through our education in Early Childhood Development and experience in meeting the needs of children with various abilities, Helping Hands uses the methodologies of the RIE and Reggio Emilio philosophies. We are dedicated to working with children and showing them respect by including them in the discussion and decisions of the day. We support growth and development through our environment, nutritional program, and physical interactions.

Hours & Schedule

Helping Hands Family Daycare & Preschool welcomes children Monday through Thursday. We open our doors at 8:00 a.m. and closing time is 5:00 p.m.

We do not offer early care before our opening time, and there is a late pick up fee of $3 per minute if you arrive after our closing time.

We understand the importance of being able to plan ahead, so we provide our families with the scheduled closure list for the following year in November of each year. There may be circumstances beyond our control that require an unscheduled closure, such as inclement weather.

All newly enrolled families receive the closure list for the current year at the time of enrollment.
